Parents, School, Cicadas, OH MY!

My mother almost found my blog today. She happened to glance at the computer screen as she was coming in to tell me something and she was just
like, "what's a blog?" And I was just like, "Its journal and she was like, Well, whets a blog though. Do I here an echo in here?

==================Its a bird. Its a plane. No, its a Cicada=====

After a moth almost of hearing about the pests I at last spotted some this past week while walking my dog Chloe. As we walked up to street I saw more and more of them. The older the trees, it seems, the more of them you find. The noise the make also got louder as we walked. My dog snapped and sniffed at some but didn't eat any. THANK GOD. I heard they make dogs puke and with her stomach being as sensitive as it is...

At any rate, today I finally found one loner in my mom's favorite tree. I shook a branch and off it flew. Now we have done in our yard. Actually, I feel kind of left out....

====================School...YUCK=================
Another college school year almost done and blessed be the Lord for that! Oh schools alright unless you have every reason to think that you might fail a class. Then it just plain sucks!

"STICK IT TO THEM DAY"

I just recieved this vie e-mail and forwarded to most people in my address book. You should do the same!

IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES DID NOT
PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE OIL
COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.

AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF
OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL
COMPANIES.

THEREFORE MAY 19TH HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT TO THEM
DAY" AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE
THAT DAY.
THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS
MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE WORD OUT.
WAITING ON THIS ADMINISTRATION TO STEP IN AND CONTROL THE PRICES IS
NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REDUCTION AND CONTROL IN PRICES
THAT THE ARAB NATIONS PROMISED TWO WEEKS AGO?
REMEMBER ONE THING, NOT ONLY IS THE PRICE OF GASOLINE GOING UP BUT
AT THE SAME TIME AIRLINES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES, TRUCKING
COMPANIES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES WHICH EFFECTS PRICES ON
EVERYTHING THAT IS SHIPPED. THINGS LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, BUILDING MATERIALS,
MEDICAL SUPPLIES ETC. WHO PAYS IN THE END? WE DO!

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF THEY DON''T GET THE MESSAGE AFTER ONE
DAY, WE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

SO DO YOUR PART AND SPREAD THE WORD. FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO EVERYONE
YOU KNOW. MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND MAKE MAY A DAY THAT THE CITIZENS OF
THE UNITED STATES SAY "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH".
REMEMBER
DO NOT BUY GAS!!!!

Chloe vs. The squirrel

Okay, as I have mentioned on other peoples blogs, my dog is the sweetest thing you will ever meet. She is a beagle/Bassett mix with some chow thrown in. She is not very tall but very long. She is about fifty pounds of pure muscle.

She does have a couple of ticks, though. For example, she has so much anxiety that the vet has us giving her allergy medicine to calm her down. This helps keep her from chewing things up when were not around. Because she is constantly stressed, her eyes are always bloodshot. And shines wines constantly, especially now that the doc wants us to give her only 2 cups of food a day, which means she is always hungry. He suggested we feed her celery, apples and sometimes banana. She refuses to touch the stuff. And this from the dog who will eat a light bulb and chew on a battery! And when she barks, you nearly jump out of your skin!

But that is nothing compared to her ongoing battle with the squirrel. The Family always knows when The Squirrel makes its appearance. Chloe's hair stands on end, her body gets really stiff and her eyes are fixated on whatever she sees in the back yard. Then she goes all commando; literally attacking the window!

But The Squirrel, I believe is smarter than The Dog. Chloe does not seem to understand that no matter how much she attacks the glass door, she still can not get to the pest from inside the house. The squirrel, I am telling you knows this and enjoys every minute of it. He/she will sit on a branch chattering away at Chloe and shaking it's tail at her. The only way for peace to be restored is for me to go outside and yell at The squirrel. "Shoo! Go away!" Now who looks more pathetic, me or the dog? Never mind. Forget I asked.

Wha's crackulatin

This dictionaryis a guide to understanding todays language used by teenagers/young adults. It might prove helpful in the story I'm writing and hope to publish on Lulu.com. Who talks likt this: Dazeem! Why ya all up in my grill ya fugly wanska!"

Here we go again...

well, my stupidity strikes again! and it looks like I will not be able to make it to class today. I got my visa checkckard stolen and if I don't quickly report it some one might use it and stuff. But for the third time I have had stuff stolen from me on campus b/c i accidenlty left my purse unattended. Seems I should have learned by now hu?. I realized my purse was missing and went to report to campus police, who as it turns out had found it an elevator in building. I lost in the cafe of building 7.

The nice aging black officer who found it said,"Are you sure don't want to make a police report?"

"No, but I'm going to be sure to call the bank right away and let them know my card was stolen." I didn't think there was much they could do about it anyway. And besides, it was my own stupid fault. But most importantly I didn't have time and don't have much time to write this blog. One day, I will learn to do better at keeping my purse handy, until I will just hafta memorize the phone number that I call to cancel my card.
