My color is

Based on your choices, you seem to lean toward the traits associated with an
affinity for the color red. Your friends likely describe you as warm,
passionate, and dynamic. You tend to feel emotions strongly and often wear your
heart on your sleeve.
A very social person, you are popular for your energy
and readiness to have a good time. You're one person who's always ready to
party! When it comes to relationships, work, and even how you decorate your
home, you can be pretty traditional, but you're also willing to make bold moves
to make a statement.
Your strong opinions and competitive nature mean that
you sometimes clash with others, but often your warmth and confidence save the
day. If you want to introduce your signature color into your home's décor,
consider a rich red for a formal dining room or as an unexpected punch of color
in an entryway.

Sorry and updates

Hi. Long time no see! I am sorry I haven't posted but wanted to let you all knew that I am still living. I would like to say a few words about Reagan. He was in office while I grew up in the 80's. I was born in 81 so he is the first president I knew of when I was old enough to understand what a president was. His passing was kind of like losing one more link to my childhood. His funeral was quite long and when my father was watching the motorcade for like ten minutes just driving and driving, he felt it was kind of boring. Oh, I didn't know state funerals were supposed to be exciting. I kind of agreed and much more enjoyed the parts of different people speaking and sharing memories. This was also for me the first state funeral I ever remembered seeing and was interesting to see what all is involved. It was magnificent undertaking for a magnificent man. May you rest in peace, Mr. President.

Got Gas?

Gasoline, that is. Earlier this month I posted about the May 19 gas boycott. Hats off to those of you who participated. Until I spotted
Break the Change on google I didn't know this boycott of gas had been tried again and again with the same none-existent result. I also learned something about the world of chain letters. The world Wide Web can be dangerouse place. Find out what you need to know about what people are sending to your mail box by clicking the links above.

Happy Memorial Day!

To all the troops who have fought honorably and with courage: THANK YOU. The following is a song by Twila Paris. I chose it because so many of our soldiers are just kids (sometimes only 19 yrs old) and it may reflect how many of them feel at this time. Our troops are amazing but they are also human.
Lately I've been winning battles left and right
But even winners can get wounded in the fight
People say that I'm amazing
Strong beyond my years
But they don't see inside of me
I'm hiding all the tears
And they don't know that I go running home when I fall down
They don't know who picks me up when no one is around
I drop my sword and cry for just a while
'Cause deep inside this armor
The warrior is a child
Unafraid because His armor is the best
But even soldiers need a quiet place to rest
People say that I'm amazing
Never face retreat
But they don't see the enemies
That lay me at His feet
And they don't know that I go running home when I fall down
They don't know who picks me up when no one is around
I drop my sword and cry for just a while
'Cause deep inside this armor
The warrior is a child
And they don't know that I go running home when I fall down
They don't know who picks me up when no one is around
I drop my sword and look up for a smile
'Cause deep inside this armor
Deep inside this armor
Deep inside this armor
The warrior is a child

Parents, School, Cicadas, OH MY!

My mother almost found my blog today. She happened to glance at the computer screen as she was coming in to tell me something and she was just
like, "what's a blog?" And I was just like, "Its journal and she was like, Well, whets a blog though. Do I here an echo in here?

==================Its a bird. Its a plane. No, its a Cicada=====

After a moth almost of hearing about the pests I at last spotted some this past week while walking my dog Chloe. As we walked up to street I saw more and more of them. The older the trees, it seems, the more of them you find. The noise the make also got louder as we walked. My dog snapped and sniffed at some but didn't eat any. THANK GOD. I heard they make dogs puke and with her stomach being as sensitive as it is...

At any rate, today I finally found one loner in my mom's favorite tree. I shook a branch and off it flew. Now we have done in our yard. Actually, I feel kind of left out....

====================School...YUCK=================
Another college school year almost done and blessed be the Lord for that! Oh schools alright unless you have every reason to think that you might fail a class. Then it just plain sucks!
