The Parents

Parents.Got to love them. Actually, I do love my parents. And respective. They are a hard working, godly couple that truly admire and respect. But tht doesn't mean they dont' annoy me from time. Like the conversation I had with my dad a few minutes. He comes in while I'm typing in my blog about work. He doesn't say anything for a moment, just stands there reading over my shoulder. Hellow? Doesn't privacy mean anything. I decided to get the conversation rolling.

Me: Yes?

Dad: I was just wondering if I could check your mom's e-mail. (because sometimes
stuff needed for him is sent to her. don't ask me why.)

Me: "Oh, well I'm almost done here." I finished typing and press Publish Post.

Dad: What's a blog?

Me: Its just an online journal.

I was just annoyed because he was trying to read my stuff. There; I griped and now I feel better.

So I lied!

I know i told anonymous I would not simply use my blog to comlain about work because I like alot of my fellow employees and want them to read this crap I call art...but who am I fooling? Tuesday was a bad day. Real bad. First of all our daycare is short staffed currently. Terri quit. Linda quit. Gladys was sick. Anne was fired, our director was spending the day at another daycare and another had the dayoff. We had noone to watch the kidnergartners who were out of school and so they spent the entire morning in the three-year-old classroom. If that was not bad enough, in the afternoon the the State decided to rear their ugly head and do their inspection. Now our daycare has two wings to it. I am usualy in the wing that has the classroom with children who are three and under. The otherside has the four year old classroom on up. Our assistant director Jill was over ratiod in the schoolage room and she managed to avoid getting caught. what a day what day.later
