Interesting discussion. And, no, I wouldn't shoot the guy or girl. I would do my best to reason with them, and if it came down to "self-defense", I would let Christ be my rock and redeemer. I agree, God is Sovereign, but that doesn't give allowance for recklesness or murder. A human life is of infinite value, and I don't have the spare change to pick up infinity...
